Multicultural Society for Excellence (MSFE) Callout
MSFE will hold a callout on Thursday, October 16 from 7:00–8:00 p.m. in Beering Hall, Room 1222. Pizza and pop will be provided. Apply for CFS Dean's Student Advisory Panel
Applications are being accepted through Friday, October 31 for the new CFS Dean's Student Advisory Panel. The panel will advise the dean on policies, procedures, and programs affecting undergraduate students in the college. Applicants must be nominated by a CFS student organization of which they are a current member; must have been enrolled as a full-time student in CFS for at least two semesters; and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. Registration Open for CFS Study Abroad Programs
Several study abroad programs are planned for CFS students in 2009. Destinations include Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Portugal, France, Dubai, Oman, United Kingdom, and others. Trips will take place over spring break, Maymester, and summer. Visit the CFS Study Abroad page for more information.
Interdisciplinary Team Wins Sara Lee Innovation Award
A team of Purdue students, including one foods and nutrition student, took the $10,000 top prize in this year’s Sara Lee Innovation Award competition. The second annual contest is designed to spark culinary creativity while educating students on the process of creating, producing, and marketing a new food product.
